Se você ler o Internet, preste atenção à notícia, ou tenha um heartbeat; você realiza provavelmente que Las Vegas tem a terra tornada zero para o negativity. Quando um atleta profissional começar batido e atacado fora do Tira de Las Vegas, faz headlines nacionais. Quando um lawsuit novo é arquivado, está toda sobre o lugar. Quando os milhares de trabalhos novos são criados, começa pouco jogo.
Caso e ponto? De acordo com diversos relatórios, os recursos de Wynn arquivaram recentemente um par de lawsuits diferentes para os dinheiros devidos. Como eu sei? Porque sobre o passado diversos dias, eu o li sobre eles no Internet sobre…… tempos bons de um bazillion.
Thankfully, eu fiz escavar e recuperei também um artigo positivo! No negócio Las Vegas escreveu recentemente um artigo sobre como os recursos de Wynn estão indo começar a empregar para aproximado. 5.300 trabalhos novos em julho 2008. Os trabalhos novos estão sendo criados encher posições no Encore, que se espera abrir em dezembro 2008. Nós todos soubemos que estes trabalhos estavam vindo - é agradável vê-los chegar.
De acordo com o artigo, aproximado. 1.700 do aproximado. 5.300 trabalhos serão enchidos por empregados atuais de Wynn Las Vegas. Os recursos de Wynn pretendem então em reencher aqueles aproximados. 1.700 posições. Ainda um aproximado. 5.300 trabalhos novos. Contente nós começamos aquele reto.

Você ouviu-se sobre os trabalhos over-5,000 novos no Encore na notícia? Err, não realmente. Aprovação, você ouviu-se como MGM MIRAGE colocou fora aproximado. 400 gerentes em abril 2008? Naturalmente você. So how come 400 layoffs were so much more relevant than approx 5,300 new jobs?
The new jobs are what many would call the second phase to major hiring which started in 2007. Because of the billions worth of new mega-resorts and/or casino-hotel expansions currently under way, tens of thousands of jobs are expected to be created in Las Vegas by 2012.
Other New Jobs
While the Las Vegas real estate market has been pounded deep into the desert sand, at least some tangible good news is happening for Las Vegas.
- In 2007, Sands Corp. created approx. 4,000 new jobs at the Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino.
- MGM MIRAGE has announced that hiring for approx. 12,000 jobs at CityCenter will begin sometime in the near future (probably after Encore’s jobs are filled).
- M Resort, Cosmopolitan Resort Casino, Hard Rock expansion, Fontainebleau Resort, Echelon, Aliante Station, Planet Hollywood Towers, and the Caesars Palace expansion are all expected to contribute to the job creation.
Mega-resorts to the rescue?
What will the effect of tens of thousands of new jobs feel like for our local economy and/or real estate market?
Only time will tell.
