Si vous lisez l'Internet, observez les nouvelles, ou ayez un battement de coeur ; vous vous rendez compte probablement que Las Vegas a la terre devenue zéro pour la négativité. Quand un athlète professionnel obtient battu et attaqué au loin du Bande de Las Vegas, il fait les titres nationaux. Quand un nouveau procès est classé, il est partout. Quand des milliers de nouveaux emplois sont créés, il obtient peu de jeu.
Cas et point ? Selon plusieurs rapports, les ressources de Wynn ont récemment classé un couple de différents procès pour des argents dus. Comment est-ce que je sais ? Puisqu'au cours du passé plusieurs jours, je l'ai lu au sujet de eux sur l'Internet au sujet…… des temps bons d'un bazillion.
Avec reconnaissance, j'ai fait creuser et ai également récupéré un article positif ! Dans les affaires Las Vegas a récemment écrit un article concernant la façon dont les ressources de Wynn va commencer à louer pour approximativement. les 5.300 nouveaux travaux en juillet 2008. Les nouveaux emplois sont créés de remplir positions au bis, qui est attendu pour s'ouvrir en décembre 2008. Nous tous avons su que ces travaux venaient - il fait beau de les voir arriver.
Selon l'article, approximativement. 1.700 de approximativement. les 5.300 travaux seront remplis par les employés courants de Wynn Las Vegas. Les ressources de Wynn prévoit alors sur remplir ceux approximativement. 1.700 positions. Toujours approximativement. les 5.300 nouveaux travaux. Heureux nous avons obtenu cela droit.
Pensez à vous-même…
Avez-vous entendu parler des nouveaux travaux over-5,000 au bis sur les nouvelles ? Errez, pas vraiment. Ok, vous avez entendu comment MGM MIRAGE a congédié approximativement. 400 directeurs en avril 2008 ? Of course you did. So how come 400 layoffs were so much more relevant than approx 5,300 new jobs?
The new jobs are what many would call the second phase to major hiring which started in 2007. Because of the billions worth of new mega-resorts and/or casino-hotel expansions currently under way, tens of thousands of jobs are expected to be created in Las Vegas by 2012.
Other New Jobs
While the Las Vegas real estate market has been pounded deep into the desert sand, at least some tangible good news is happening for Las Vegas.
- In 2007, Sands Corp. created approx. 4,000 new jobs at the Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino.
- MGM MIRAGE has announced that hiring for approx. 12,000 jobs at CityCenter will begin sometime in the near future (probably after Encore’s jobs are filled).
- M Resort, Cosmopolitan Resort Casino, Hard Rock expansion, Fontainebleau Resort, Echelon, Aliante Station, Planet Hollywood Towers, and the Caesars Palace expansion are all expected to contribute to the job creation.
Mega-resorts to the rescue?
What will the effect of tens of thousands of new jobs feel like for our local economy and/or real estate market?
Only time will tell.
