Si usted lee el Internet, mire las noticias, o tenga un latido del corazón; usted realiza probablemente que Las Vegas tiene tierra convertida cero para el negativity. Cuando un atleta profesional consigue batido y asaltado apagado de Tira de Las Vegas, hace títulos nacionales. Cuando se archiva un nuevo pleito, está por todas partes. Cuando los millares de nuevos trabajos se crean, consigue poco juego.
¿Caso y punto? Según varios informes, los recursos de Wynn archivaron recientemente un par de diversos pleitos para los dineros debidos. ¿Cómo sé? Porque sobre el pasado varios días, lo leí sobre ellos en el Internet sobre…… tiempos bien de un bazillion.

En negocio Las Vegas escribió recientemente un artículo acerca de cómo los recursos de Wynn van a comenzar a emplear para aproximadamente. 5.300 nuevos trabajos en julio de 2008. Se están creando los nuevos trabajos de llenar posiciones en la repetición, que se espera que se abra en diciembre de 2008. Todos sabíamos que venían estos trabajos - es agradable verlos llegar.
Según el artículo, aproximadamente. 1.700 de aproximadamente. 5.300 trabajos serán llenados por los empleados actuales de Wynn Las Vegas. ¿Usted oyó hablar los nuevos trabajos over-5,000 en la repetición en las noticias? Yerre, no realmente. Autorización, usted oyó cómo MGM MIRAGE despidió aproximadamente. ¿400 encargados en abril de 2008? Por supuesto usted. So how come 400 layoffs were so much more relevant than approx 5,300 new jobs?
The new jobs are what many would call the second phase to major hiring which started in 2007. Because of the billions worth of new mega-resorts and/or casino-hotel expansions currently under way, tens of thousands of jobs are expected to be created in Las Vegas by 2012.
Other New Jobs
While the Las Vegas real estate market has been pounded deep into the desert sand, at least some tangible good news is happening for Las Vegas.
- In 2007, Sands Corp. created approx. 4,000 new jobs at the Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino.
- MGM MIRAGE has announced that hiring for approx. 12,000 jobs at CityCenter will begin sometime in the near future (probably after Encore’s jobs are filled).
- M Resort, Cosmopolitan Resort Casino, Hard Rock expansion, Fontainebleau Resort, Echelon, Aliante Station, Planet Hollywood Towers, and the Caesars Palace expansion are all expected to contribute to the job creation.
Mega-resorts to the rescue?
What will the effect of tens of thousands of new jobs feel like for our local economy and/or real estate market?
Only time will tell.
