Wenn Sie das Internet lesen, passen Sie die Nachrichten auf oder haben Sie einen Herzschlag; Sie stellen vermutlich fest, daß Las Vegas gewordenen Boden null für Negativität hat. Wenn ein professioneller Athlet geschlagen und weg von mugged erhält Las Vegas Streifen, bildet es nationale Schlagzeilen. Wenn ein neuer Prozeß eingeordnet wird, ist er ganz über dem Platz. Wenn Tausenden der neuen Jobs verursacht werden, erhält es wenig Spiel.
Fall und Punkt? Entsprechend einigen Reports ordneten Wynn Erholungsorte vor kurzem ein Paar der unterschiedlichen Prozesse für die verdankten Gelder ein. Wie weiß ich? Weil über der Vergangenheit einige Tage, ich es über sie auf dem Internet über… wohle… ein bazillion Zeiten las.
Dankbar tat ich das Graben und gewann auch einen positiven Artikel zurück! Im Geschäft schrieb Las Vegas vor kurzem einen Artikel über, wie Wynn Erholungsorte für ca., anzustellen anfangen wird. 5.300 neue Jobs im Juli 2008. Die neuen Jobs werden, Positionen an der Zugabe zu füllen verursacht, die erwartet wird, um sich im Dezember 2008 zu öffnen. Alle wir wußten, daß diese Jobs kamen - es ist nett, sie zu sehen anzukommen.
Entsprechend dem Artikel ca. 1.700 von ca. 5.300 Jobs werden von den gegenwärtigen Angestellten von Wynn Las Vegas gefüllt. Wynn Erholungsorte beabsichtigt dann auf die ca. wieder füllen. 1.700 Positionen. Noch ca. 5.300 neue Jobs. Froh erhielten wir das gerade.
Denken Sie zu selbst…
Hörten Sie über die neuen Jobs over-5,000 an der Zugabe auf den Nachrichten? Irren Sie sich, nicht wirklich. O.K., hörten Sie, wie MGM MIRAGE ca. ablegte. 400 Manager im April 2008? Selbstverständlich Sie. So how come 400 layoffs were so much more relevant than approx 5,300 new jobs?
The new jobs are what many would call the second phase to major hiring which started in 2007. Because of the billions worth of new mega-resorts and/or casino-hotel expansions currently under way, tens of thousands of jobs are expected to be created in Las Vegas by 2012.
Other New Jobs
While the Las Vegas real estate market has been pounded deep into the desert sand, at least some tangible good news is happening for Las Vegas.
- In 2007, Sands Corp. created approx. 4,000 new jobs at the Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino.
- MGM MIRAGE has announced that hiring for approx. 12,000 jobs at CityCenter will begin sometime in the near future (probably after Encore’s jobs are filled).
- M Resort, Cosmopolitan Resort Casino, Hard Rock expansion, Fontainebleau Resort, Echelon, Aliante Station, Planet Hollywood Towers, and the Caesars Palace expansion are all expected to contribute to the job creation.
Mega-resorts to the rescue?
What will the effect of tens of thousands of new jobs feel like for our local economy and/or real estate market?
Only time will tell.
