With all of the doom and gloom in real estate these days, a ray of sunshine broke through the real estate storm clouds in Las Vegas today.

For 2007, the annual Las Vegas housing appreciation rate statistics were published today in the Las Vegas Review Journal per SalesTraq, the company tracking such statistics. Only five zip codes out of 61 showed appreciating home values. 89109 is one of those five zip codes.

So what’s so special about 89109? It happens to have luxury condos as a major part of that zip code. Sky Las Vegas, Turnberry Towers and Turnberry Place are just three examples of the luxury condos in 89109.

What else is in zipcode 89109? Trump International Hotel and Towers, Palazzo luxury condos and the future Plaza luxury condos. Seems like a great zipcode to own a luxury condominium whether as a second home, vacation condo or your primary residence. With the trend towards urban living, zipcode 89109 should be on your Las Vegas radar screen.
