Tiffany announces new store at The Crystals at MGM MIRAGE CityCenter on the Las Vegas Strip

Located directly on the Las Vegas Strip and with an estimated opening in 2009, the $8.4 billion MGM MIRAGE CityCenter is expected to set a new level of standard when it comes to mega-resort construction, architecture, and amenity. From spectacular high-rise real estate offerings such as The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences, Vdara Condo Hotel, Veer Towers, and The Residences at Mandarin Oriential to an approx. 500,000 square foot retail and entertainment district called The Crystals, CityCenter has reached global appeal. And now, luxury jeweler Tiffany and Co. has announced it will appear at The Crystals.
The Crystals, a masterpiece of jagged edges and glass, was designed by famed architecture firm Studio Daniel Libeskind. Tiffany is expected to front the Las Vegas Strip and feature an 85-foot-high entrance. The interior design of Tiffany at The Crystals is expected to appear iconic and ultra-elegant.

Residents of luxury condominium properties such as The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences and The Mandarin Oriental will enjoy billions worth of amenities, fine-dining, spa, nightlife, shows, art, and entertainment virtually outside their building’s doors.
The incorporating of a Tiffany store makes perfect sense considering The Crystals much resembles a bed of fine crystals. The two leaning Veer Towers (read recent news about Veer Towers’ glass being installed) appear much like diamonds sprouting out of that bed of crystals.
Recently, the top-three residential price-per-square-foot records in Las Vegas history were set when multiple penthouse units were sold at The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences.
