First glass getting installed on The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences at MGM MIRAGE CityCenter on the Las Vegas Strip

With construction crews from the Perini Building Company working feverishly, the first glass has been installed on The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences at MGM MIRAGE CityCenter on the Las Vegas Strip. This in addition to glass also now being installed on Veer Towers. This blog will be the first in a series outlining the latest construction strides taking place at MGM MIRAGE’s $8.4 billion eco-friendly mega-resort.

The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences is a chic and trendy boutique hotel which features a limited number of residential luxury high-rise condominiums and penthouses. The property primarily appeals to those in the entertainment and pro-sports industries due to its amenities and management by Andrew Sasson’s The Light Group. The project is also expected to feature Las Vegas’ first MR CHOW restaurant (read more).

The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences

In November 2007, the top-three residential price-per-square-foot records in the history of Las Vegas were set at The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences(read more) when several high-end units (including penthouses) were sold for over $1,500, $2,000, and $2,400 a square foot (by Aaron Auxier of Luxury Realty Group – yours truly).

The Harmon sits just north of the approx. 500,000 sq. ft. The Crystals retail and entertainment district at CityCenter. Read my recent blog about the announcement of Tiffany at The Crystals in Las Vegas’ MGM MIRAGE CityCenter.

With only 207 condos, The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences is actually the most boutique of all real estate offerings at MGM MIRAGE CityCenter. Mandarin Oriental weighs in at 227 units, while Veer Towers weighs in at 674. Vdara Condo Hotel offers approx. 1,543 units (Vdara offers turn-key, fully-furnished condotel units).

Does the Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences offer the type of exclusive lifestyle you seek?
