The Harmon Hotel accepted into The Leading Hotels of the World

The Harmon Hotel, a boutique hotel with a limited number of residential condominiums and penthouse condos has been accepted into the prestigious group, The Leading Hotels of the World.
Very few hotels in the world make it into The Leading Hotels of the World organization. Hotels are chosen for their outstanding attention to comfort, luxury and hospitality. The Harmon Hotel joins some of the finest boutique hotels and resorts around the world as part of this group. This is yet another achievement, adding to the fact that CityCenter will truly become an international destination.
Many of the hotels in The Leading Hotels of the World are 5 star. Does this mean the The Harmon Hotel will get a 5 star status? No, but it could.
The building will be located in the MGM MIRAGE CityCenter project located on Las Vegas Boulevard. CityCenter, at $7.4 billion, contributes to over $30 billion of new growth happening on the Las Vegas Strip which includes mega resorts, casinos, and high rise luxury condos. That figure includes The Cosmopolitan Resort Casino, Fontainebleau, Trump International, Sky Las Vegas, and Echelon by Boyd Gaming. A $6 billion replica of The Plaza Hotel in New York is also on the way.
The Harmon Hotel went on sale in October 2007 and has sold roughly 50% of its condominiums in the first three months of pre construction sales. Units start at over a million dollars and go up to the 10 million range for penthouses. It has been a favorite of the Hollywood crowd due to the fact it will be managed by Andrew Sasson’s The Light Group, and because of its Frederic Fekkai Hair Salon, Tracey Martyn Spa and Mr. Chow Asian Cuisine.
Floor plans range from one and two bedrooms, up to the three bedroom penthouse properties on the top three floors. Many units feature prime Las Vegas Strip views.
