Elvis zou 73 dit afgelopen Januari gedraaid hebben. Vele ventilators herdachten zijn verjaardag door bloemen rond zijn bronsstandbeeld in Las Vegas Hilton te leggen. Het was hier (vroeger het Internationale Hotel en Casino), die Elvis tonen meer dan uitver*kopte opeenvolgende 800 in de jaren '70. Tijdens zijn historische looppas leefde Elvis in een speciaal ontworpen penthouse reeks die voor al alle praktische doeleinden eerste high-rise van Las Vegas condo was, bezette dit hotel de volledige hoogste vloer van het hotel dat tegelijkertijd grootst in de wereld was.
