Elvis habría dado vuelta a 73 este último enero. Muchos ventiladores conmemoraron su cumpleaños poniendo las flores alrededor de su estatua de bronce en el Las Vegas Hilton. Estaba aquí (antes el hotel y el casino internacionales), ese Elvis vendido hacia fuera sobre 800 demostraciones consecutivas en los años 70. Durante su funcionamiento histórico Elvis vivió en una habitación especialmente diseñada del ático que era para todos todos los propósitos prácticos el primer condo high-rise de Las Vegas, este hotel ocupó el piso superior entero del hotel que era en ese entonces el más grande del mundo.
