Elvis würde 73 dieser letzte Januar gedreht haben. Viele Ventilatoren gedachten seinen Geburtstag, indem sie Blumen um seine Bronzestatue beim Las Vegas Hilton legten. Es war hier (früher das internationale Hotel und das Kasino), dieser Elvis, der heraus über 800 nachfolgenden zeigen in den siebziger Jahren verkauft wurde. Während seines historischen Durchlaufes lebte Elvis in einer besonders entworfenen Penthousesuite, die zu allen allen praktischen Zwecken die erste Las Vegas high-rise Eigentumswohnung war, dieses Hotel besetzte den gesamten oberen Fußboden des Hotels, das zu der Zeit in der Welt das größte war.
