MGM MIRAGE CityCenter biedt studioeenheden bij Veer kant en klaar en volledig geleverde Torens aan. Dit zijn condotel eenheden maar geen zuivere wooncondominiums. Deze eenheden worden aangeboden in beperkte aantallen en voor een beperkte tijd. CityCenter is voor programma, zal de $9.2 miljard ontwikkeling beginnen openings in Augustus 2009. Construction Update: Very nice looking grey and yellow colored glass is starting to be installed on Veer Towers, two leaning luxury high-rise condominium towers on the Las Vegas Strip. Veer Towers consists of approx. 674 residential condos, divided up into two separate buildings. The success of MGM MIRAGE CityCenter (an $8.4 billion development) is good news for the local Las Vegas real estate market. While the media refuses to tell few positive stories happening in Las Vegas (especially on the Strip), CityCenter has set several records and has sold over $1.6 billion in real estate in just over a years time. In a confident move based on several factors, MGM MIRAGE raised prices 3% at CityCenter (across the board), on March 1st, 2008. While penthouse pricing wasn’t affected, all other condominium units at Veer Towers, Mandarin Oriental, Vdara Condo Hotel, and The Harmon Residences experienced the price increase. As the U.S. media continues to spread doom and gloom, several recent successes on the Las Vegas Strip cannot be denied. While some good location penthouse inventory remains, many of the prime location penthouses at MGM MIRAGE CityCenter have sold or have been taken off the market for Dubai World clients. With the Dubai sales office opening in Spring 2008, there is a U.S. focus on remaining penthouse product in Veer Towers, Mandarin Oriental, and The Harmon. The announcement that Dubai World is entering a second joint venture on the Strip solidifies the partnership between MGM and Dubai world as a long term strategic partnership. Earlier this summer, MGM’s board of directors approved Dubai world’s 2.7 billion investment for 50% of CityCenter.
