MGM Mirage has upped the estimate for the cost for its newest and most dramatic development in Las Vegas. The massive project will occupy 66 prime acres on the Strip and will be anchored by the 60 plus story ARIA Resort & Casino. MGM MIRAGE CityCenter will be the most costly privately funded construction project in history.Would it get reported if the three lowest price-per-square-foot sales in Las Vegas history happened? Then why didn’t the top three get reported?

You can’t blame the national press for continuing to search for bad stories about the Las Vegas real estate market. Think about, everyone knows that the United States is going through a challenged economy, an election year, and a nationwide real estate and mortgage liquidity meltdown.
