On November 13, 2007, another Las Vegas famous hotel and casino will bite the dust. This implosion however may be the most important one ever in Las Vegas history. Why?
The New Frontier’s implosion marks a milestone in Las Vegas luxury hotel and condo real estate history in many ways:
- The cost of the land for the New Frontier was near $34 million an acre, a new record for Las Vegas Strip acreage.
- The land will be used to build the Plaza Las Vegas, an ultra luxury hotel and casino. Most likely there will be a limited number of luxury residential components offered for sale just like the New York Plaza. So why did I mention the New York Plaza?
- Plaza Las Vegas, yes the same owner of the New York Plaza that just celebrated its 100 year anniversary, is also owned by the Elad Group.
- The initial rendering of the Plaza Las Vegas illustrates just how high end the luxury real estate transformation is taking place along the Strip.
-
The Plaza Las Vegas rendering is courtesy of www.VegasTodayandTomorrow.com sourced from Steelman Partners architects and the Las Vegas Review Journal. It is subject to change at any time without notice. - The Plaza Las Vegas is expected to reflect significant international demand of a Las Vegas luxury hotel and casino and those residential components offered for sale.
- Based on the price per acre paid, we fully expect to see prices per square foot set new records at the Plaza Las Vegas, assuming luxury condo or hotel condos will be offered for sale as was the New York Plaza.
Luxury Realty Group is already forming its VIP interest list for the luxury residential offerings at the Plaza Las Vegas. While the excavation of the land won’t begin until sometime in late 2008, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal, interest is already building for those who want to be a part of this trend setting history.
