Hey economy! Just like I said in part one of this series, everyone is fed up with your negativity. While we’re aware that you’re not ready to stop your moaning, there was nothing you could do to stop the openings of Trump International Hotel and Tower and Palms Place. Costing nearly $2 billion in total, and after a two year wait to peak a glimpse inside, we’re going to savor the excitement of adding these buildings to Las Vegas’ collection.
For the first time, I recently toured both Trump International and Palms Place. What’s better than buying a new car and enjoying the new car smell? Walking into a billion dollar building and getting that same sensation.
Rather than sensationalizing the good news like some like to sensationalize the bad news, I’ve simply added a light description, a few photos, and the latest MLS stats for each project. Featuring dramatic chandeliers and an on-site staff ready to tend to your luxury lifestyle needs, Trump’s lobby displays a feel of elegance.

Trump International Hotel and Tower Description
Trump International Hotel and Tower is a condo hotel development standing 64 stories tall on Fashion Show Drive, adjacent to the Fashion Show Mall. The tower features approx. 1282 furnished units, with floor plans ranging from studios to penthouses. The building’s exterior is made of gilded gold glass windows with white accents. Amenities include: 24-hour security, valet, spa, fitness center, pool, salon, and business center.

Trump International latest MLS Inventory (as of March 26, 2007)
Resale listings at Trump International Hotel and Tower are starting to appear on the MLS. As of March 26, 2007 only 1 exists. That unit is a one bedroom corner unit on the 49th floor with views of the Las Vegas Strip. Asking price $1,540,000.
Would you like to invest into a property at Trump International? It should be interesting to watch how much inventory hits the resale market at Palms Place and Trump International over the next 6 months due to tightning condotel financing and down payment requirements. Will prices fall like Signature at MGM Grand? We will have to watch and see.
