Luxury Realty Group and Celebrity high-rise agent Aaron Auxier set three new Las Vegas pricing records.

Luxury Realty Group, a boutique brokerage which specializes in luxury properties, has set the top three residential (home/condo) records for price-per-square-foot sales in Las Vegas history.

Aaron Auxier, the firm’s top-producing agent for the last three years, recently sold several high-floor units at MGM MIRAGE CityCenter’s The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences. Two of the three record sales were penthouses, which when complete in 2009, will feature Las Vegas Strip views and world-class architecture views such as Veer Towers, Mandarin Oriental, CityCenter hotel, Vdara, and Cosmopolitan Resort Casino.

While the overall U.S. housing market has been all doom and gloom, the high-end luxury market in Las Vegas, Nevada continues to show strength. The three sales included prices of $1,500, $2,000, and over $2,400 a square foot. The $2,400 a sq. ft. sale nearly doubled the previous Las Vegas valley record of just over $1,300 a square foot for a residential property. It was also the most expensive per-foot luxury condominium sale in Vegas history (condotel or residential).

As of February 2008, Aaron Auxier is the top-dollar-selling agent at The Harmon, a boutique hotel and residential condominium tower which caters to celebrities and those in the entertainment business. With a MR CHOW restaurant out of Beverly Hills and a Frédéric Fekkai hair salon, celebrity sightings will be aplenty.

“I’m excited about my recent achievements,” says Auxier. “Coming from Los Angeles with a background in showbiz, I specialize in helping the type of person that The Harmon is made for. I can’t wait for it to open!”

With an emphasis on multi-billion-dollar mega-resorts due to fewer remaining parcels of land in the prime-location Resort Corridor, The Harmon isn’t the only development which is expected to raise the pricing barrier on the Las Vegas Strip. According to many, future projects like The Plaza Hotel and The Palazzo luxury condos could reach north of $1,500 a sq. ft.
